How do I choose a laptop?
Here are several points to consider before you decide on a new laptop.

1. Decide on your priorities. Do you need a very light tablet PC or a performance-rich desktop replacement?

2. Within your weight, size and portability parameters, get the best possible processor (CPU) speed that you can afford.

3. Wide-screen PCs are great for applications, but they will restrict portability.

4. No screen can work equally well both indoors and outdoors. Try to get the best compromise, depending on where you will mostly be using your laptop.

5. Check that there is plenty of RAM for your applications, and what the options are for adding more RAM.
